Introduction
Welcome to the Bluefin Framework wtgOS documentation.
This project is a highly specialized "spin" of Bluefin-DX, custom-built for the Framework Laptop 13 and advanced Agentic AI workflows.
What is wtgOS?
wtgOS is designed for developers who want the stability and security of an immutable OS, paired with a high-performance, isolated environment for AI development.
The Foundation: Bluefin-DX
We build upon Bluefin-DX, inheriting:
- Atomic Updates: Never worry about a broken system update.
- Cloud-Native Tooling: Docker, Podman, and Kind ready out of the box.
- Ubuntu Compatibility: Homebrew and Distrobox provide a familiar ecosystem.
The Layer: wtgOS Additions
On top of the Bluefin base, we add:
- Framework 13 Optimization: Specific kernel tuning for Ryzen AI 300 series.
- Quarantined AI: A dedicated, declarative Distrobox for AI agents with ROCm passthrough.
- TDI Validation: Test-Driven Infrastructure ensures your OS is always verified.
